Inside, clients will discover a beautiful showroom with a curated collection of fabrics, trims, drapery hardware, and hard window treatments. This space serves as a canvas for clients to collaborate with their dedicated Window Treatment Specialist, creating window treatments that are custom to each client’s unique personality and style. Whether it’s out-of-the-box concepts or one-of-a-kind masterpieces, Stitch Above The Rest invites clients to explore the endless possibilities.
Clients will also have the opportunity to witness the drapery workroom in action, where skilled artisans bring designs to life. Elizabeth Gerdes: The Visionary Behind the Concept
Elizabeth Gerdes, CEO and Creative Director of Stitch Above The Rest, brings a wealth of experience and passion to this groundbreaking endeavor. With a background rooted in sewing and design, Elizabeth’s journey from her upbringing in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to founding a thriving business in Woodstock, is a testament to her unwavering dedication.
Elizabeth can often be seen driving to client consultations in her classic pink 1957 Thunderbird; her dream car since she was in high school.
