This two-story bay window is treated with a custom made, one piece, cornice board, that is shaped to fit the exact angles of the bay. The bay window is about 17′ wide, with 150° angles. Making it in one piece allows for a seamless design and no joints. The client wanted it mounted half way up to make the room feel cozier. Accented underneath are three drapery panels, made of the same fabric and tied back with custom tassel hold-backs that coordinate with the small key tassels hanging off the ends of the cornice. The cornice is then trimmed with black/ivory cord, which is then shaped into circular decorative designs at each end.
